Who We Are
The Joseph Agbeko Foundation (JAF) is a nonprofit organization founded by two-time bantamweight world champion and Ghanaian boxing legend, Joseph Agbeko. Rooted in the values of discipline, resilience, and self-improvement, JAF is dedicated to empowering underserved youth in Ghana through sports, mental health advocacy, education, and mentorship. By leveraging the transformative power of boxing and community engagement, we provide young people with the tools to build confidence, develop life skills, and create pathways to a brighter future.
At JAF, we believe that true success extends beyond the boxing ring. Our programs are designed to address the pressing challenges that many young Ghanaians face, including limited access to quality education, mental health support, and career guidance. By integrating structured sports training with academic and personal development initiatives, we aim to nurture well-rounded individuals who can rise above adversity and become positive change-makers in their communities.
Through partnerships with schools, local organizations, and international supporters, JAF is working to create a sustainable impact that extends beyond the present generation. Our vision is to build a network of inspired youth equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to transform their own lives and uplift those around them. Every punch thrown, every lesson learned, and every challenge overcome at JAF contributes to a movement of empowerment, proving that with the right support, any young person can achieve greatness.
